GGM Aleju “Al” Reyes was the official Kajukenbo Secretary. He was known for his dedication to Emperado’s original Hard Style not only through the advancement of the art, but as the keeper of the written knowledge. Recognizing the value of his dedication to documentation, Sijo named Aleju Reyes the official Kajukenbo Secretary. To honor his role, GGM Reyes kept detailed records which were passed down to his son SGM Alan M. Reyes and later to his son, Sigung Alan Christopher Reyes.

Members shall address Mr. Adriano Emperado as Chief Instructor Emperado during training sessions, and alternates as Instructors' i.e.; "Instructor Joe, Instructor verinc, etc.
Prior to entering gym, salutation will be administered by members of the class by bowing and handshake to their imediate instructors to signify respect.
Complete Mat Garment (Judo-Gi) will be worn during workout periods.
There will be absolutely no smoking during training periods.

There will be no loafing or horse-playing during training periods. Early attendance to utilize the gym mat for "Warm-Up" until arrival of class members be permitted.
Attendance should be regular as possible. Ample time should be reported for absences and tardiness to any of the Club Officials. Increase of absence or tardiness of members will be subject to appear before the Board of Directors.
Obscene, vulgar, or profanity languages will not be allowed during training sessions.
Execution of this unique art in such an abusive manner will be subject to appear before the Board of Director for disciplinary action.
Members will not be permitted to train while under the influence of intoxicating beverages.

Ranks (Belts) are from White, Purple, Blue, Green, Brown and Black, which represents a degree, class, and grade respectively, which are honorably earned or merited through a rigid series of test and trials.
Train seriously and be very conscientious and cooperative. Do the utmost of your ability to perfect this art by analyzing, utilizing deep concentration, studying the various basic movements. Keep in constant practice during your leisure hours if possible.
