This weekend passed away Chief Bob White, from CHA-3 Kenpo West Virginia Branch and Christian Kenpo Karate Brotherhood Assoc. I had the honor of being his friend by the magic of the internet and we had long conversations about kenpo and other issues. He was a real gentleman, and a old school kenpo instructor, always helping me with wise advices about how must be a real hardcore training, dealing with the students and other important things. Since CHA-3 instructors have an strict code about revealing their techniques or recognizing other kenpo styles instructors to their art, he didnt told me too much about the technical side of his art, but i can said I learn from him a lot, and he was (is) an example of love to the art, loyalty and ethics. He also send me a kind letter some months ago and a patch of his own club, as symbol of our common approach to the arts. Maybe he was not much knowed in martial arts community, even less in kajukenbo one, but I can said -from here- he was one of the best martial arts instructors and americans I have ever know. A hui hou, Chief Bob.
